The design is deliberately simple enough to let the material carry much of the visual interest. Stone or marble provides the movement; the geometry keeps the piece from becoming ornamental.
Theo works on a long wall where storage needs to feel integrated into the interior rather than added afterwards. Give it enough surrounding space for the proportions and grid to read.
The piece is strongest when the exterior is not overloaded. Let the storage do its job inside and keep the visible surfaces calm.
Let the neighbouring pieces recede — plain textiles, simple lighting.
Theo is a furniture piece by Giulio Marelli. It treats storage as part of the architecture of the room, with form doing as much work as function.
