Leaf is really a close-at-hand server rather than a conventional centre table. The elliptical form is shaped to sit neatly beside the sofa, bringing a small surface within easy reach without adding another bulky piece.
Leaf is easy to use in front of a sofa or between two lounge chairs. For a larger group, repeat the family at different scales rather than mixing in strangers.
Leaf is about convenience more than display. Keep it close to the seat it serves and use the surface for the things you actually reach for rather than treating it as a miniature styling platform.
It benefits from a single unlike neighbour and nothing further. A room reads better when only one piece is asking for attention.
Leaf is a coffee table by Giulio Marelli. It is a clean, versatile coffee table that lets proportion and material carry the design.
