The strength of Demon is that the second function is kept visually secondary. It reads as seating first, which is exactly what a good sofa bed should do.
Demon makes sense in a guest room, study, compact apartment or hotel room where the space needs to switch roles. Keep the rest of the layout flexible so opening the bed does not require moving half the room.
The important thing is to treat it as a sofa first. Keep the upholstery and surrounding furniture consistent with the room, then let the sleeping function stay out of sight until it is needed.
Let proportion, texture and light supply the interest instead of pattern.
Demon is a sofa bed by Giulio Marelli. It keeps the practicality of a sofa bed visually quiet, so the room still reads as a living space first.
