The form is continuous — it reads as one gesture rather than assembled parts. Curves carry from one surface into the next, which is why Chia Swivel Base reads as a single object rather than a collection of components.
Use Chia Swivel Base around a dining table, in a meeting room or in hospitality where the chair will be repeated. The design is strongest when the surrounding table is simpler and the rhythm of several chairs is allowed to read clearly.
The back is shaped to hold the sitter rather than behave like a flat panel. That makes Chia Swivel Base feel less formal around a dining table and softer visually as well.
Give it one disciplined neighbour — a squared console or a table with an honest straight edge. Resist a second showpiece in the same view.
Chia Swivel Base is a chair by Giulio Marelli, part of the Chia family. A clean dining seat with enough softness to keep a formal table from feeling rigid.
