The headboard is directly derived from the curved back of the Noah sofa. That continuity gives the bed a clear family identity and brings a 1970s organic reference into the bedroom without relying on obvious retro detailing.
This bed works best when the headboard is allowed to become the room’s main gesture. Keep bedside tables low and the wall behind simple; the broad curved outline already gives the bedroom the softness that many rooms try to add with extra panelling or decoration.
The enveloping headboard makes the bed feel more intimate before any cushions or throws are added. In fabric, the manufacturer also offers a removable-cover option, which is useful for a piece with such a large upholstered surface.
Use low, simple bedside tables and restrained lighting. A hard stone or metal bedside surface can work well against the softer upholstered curve.
Noah Bed is a bed by Giulio Marelli, designed by Luca Erba, part of the Noah family. It wraps the sleeping area in the same soft seventies curve that defines the sofa family.
